6/6/2023 0 Comments Minecraft dungeons steam![]() I know how to get around it and will list the options here. Thanks in advance for any help, my kiddos are jonesin' real bad with new DLC coming soonish. Has anybody figured out what the problem is and most importantly a way around it? We used to just resync the controllers to the computer and play in the office around the computer through the main Windows launcher (which was honestly a PITA as well) but we've rearranged and don't really have room for theater seating around the monitor anymore. If this method works for someone else, can you please share your settings? I've tried several other options such as closing Steam Big Picture and using the Link as a remote desktop but still no luck. ![]() I downloaded it and was able to get the button prompts for controllers to eventually show up on the main screen (I think it was by checking the 'virtual controller' option) but it still doesn't detect any input from any of the connected controllers. Searching on r/MinecraftDungeon shows this thread which seems to touch on my issue, but I'm not very familiar with GLoSC. I think the problem has more to do with launching a non-steam game through Steam perhaps? I can go into our office and muck around in the menus with the mouse but I don't see any way to choose or force a controller to be used. I'll use a controller to launch the game in BPM and once to the main screen all we get are keyboard prompts. But when we try to play on the Link the game doesn't seem to detect controllers or inputs from them, even though they are still connected to the Steam Link just fine. I was able to add Minecraft Dungeons (Win10 Ed) to Steam easily enough and it works fine when played locally using KB&M. We use a Steam Link to play games like Castle Crashers and Pummel Party in our media room all the time without problems using Bluetooth connected Xbox One controllers.
